Mr. Kevin Petrovcik
Senior Client Portfolio Manager, Invesco
Kevin Petrovcik is a Senior Client Portfolio Manager for Invesco Fixed Income and is responsible for the ongoing product development, structuring and marketing of investment funds for the
group's senior loan, high yield and alternative credit products.
Mr. Petrovcik joined Invesco’s senior loan business in 1999 to establish its product management initiative and help launch Invesco’s first collateralized loan obligation product.
Since then, Mr. Petrovcik has been responsible for providing client solutions for retail and institutional clients globally — with products ranging from retail mutual funds, closed-end funds,
exchange-traded funds, commingled institutional products, separate institutional mandates, hedge funds and collateralized debt obligations. Underlying investment products have included
senior secured loans, high yield bonds, investment grade bonds, asset-backed securities and structured products.
Prior to joining Invesco, Mr. Petrovcik was with Loan Pricing Corporation (Thomson Reuters LPC) as director of LPC's public data group, and he was responsible for Reuters’ loan and high
yield market commentary and analytics in the United States, EMEA, Latin America and Asia Pacific. In addition, Mr. Petrovcik was responsible for LPC’s flagship Gold Sheets publication as
well as the development of web-based loan and bond market analytical and research tools.
While at LPC, Mr. Petrovcik developed and helped launch Reuters’ first fee-generating internet product — Loan Connector, which is a platform for analyzing and delivering loan and high yield
market news and data. Mr. Petrovcik also helped start the first loan market pricing services with the launch of the Loan Syndications and Trading Association (LSTA)/LPC Mark-to-Market
Mr. Petrovcik began his career in banking as a corporate credit analyst with The First National Bank of Chicago, completing both First Chicago’s credit analyst training program and its credit
officer training program. Mr. Petrovcik also worked at Bankers Trust Company in its management consulting group, where he implemented a variety of risk control and strategic
management projects for the bank, and at Salomon Brothers Inc. in its business planning department.
Mr. Petrovcik earned an MBA in finance and business policy from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a BS degree in accounting and economics from New York
University's Stern School of Business. He holds the Series 7 and Series 63 registrations.
