Prof. Leo Leiderman

Professor Leo Leiderman is the Chief Economic Advisor of Bank Hapoalim, the largest commercial bank in Israel. Leiderman is also a Professor of Economics at Tel-Aviv University. Among previous top positions held by Prof. Leiderman are: Senior Director and Head of the Research Department at the Bank of Israel, Deutsche Bank’s managing director of Emerging Markets Research, and Chairman of the Department of Economics at Tel Aviv University. Leiderman holds a Ph.D. degree from the University of Chicago. He has an extensive research record, dealing mainly with financial and monetary policy issues, emerging market economies and international capital flows.
